Tabaka Mission Hospital is a faith-based hospital owned by Catholic Diocese of Kisii and managed by Trustees Servants of the Sick (Camillians) that was opened in 1973.
I went to the hospital with a serious patient at night. Got a very cold reception and was later on made to pay for laboratory services. I was ushered into unattended laboratory where I waited for more than one hour without any sight of the technician. I later on decided to take my patient home for home care was a better deal. As I walked with my patient towards the parking the staff never cared to ask if I got attended to.
